Aaron Bret Shelley
Chief Executive Officer
As Director of Operations at Mt. Hood Center, I bring nearly 20 years of leadership experience, strategic insight, and a dedication to organizational excellence. I am skilled in managing resources effectively and driving teams toward strategic goals with a focus on efficiency and adaptability. Known for being a decisive problem-solver, I thrive in dynamic environments, approaching complex challenges with a calm, solutions-focused mindset.
In my role, I prioritize clear communication and relationship-building, fostering strong connections across all levels of our organization. I’m passionate about empowering individuals to develop their skill sets, pursue personal growth, and make meaningful impacts within our team and beyond.
My background includes leadership roles across three distinct organizations, including nearly two decades as Director of Strength & Conditioning and Sports Nutrition at four Division I universities. These experiences helped shape my leadership style, instilling in me the skills to engage with administrators, board members, and stakeholders in ways that drive positive outcomes.
Ignacio García
Legal Management
Ignacio has extensive experience as a private attorney. He has also worked as a prosecutor and is currently referred as a consultant in the field of human rights and international cooperation in the mesoamerican region. Partner of the firm since 2023, his areas of specialization are Real Estate Law, Criminal Law, Compliance, Investments.
Ignacio graduated as an LL.M. (Magister Legum, Master in Laws) from the Humboldt University of Berlin (2010), also holds a degree LL.M. (Magister Legum, Master in Laws) in Criminal Law at the University of Costa Rica (2008). Licensed as Notary Public. 2007 - 2008 from the Escuela Libre de Derecho (Free University of Law), Costa Rica.
Valeria Blanco
Associate. Legal Management
Valeria Blanco is one of our recently acquired young talents at VL. She obtained her law degree in 2022 in San Jose (Universidad Escuela Libre). She registered in the Bar in 2023 and is currently finishing her specialized degree as a Notary Public. Despite her young age, Valeria already has accumulated experience in different law firms, where she stood out for her compromise and effectiveness. Acquainted in law firms and working together with companies, Valeria has been in charge for contract drafting and follow-up on criminal proceedings. Valeria speaks fluent English and works in the litigation and private contracts area.
Stephanie Barreto
Property Management
Stephanie has experience in Business Administration since she was in High School were she graduated with International Baccalaureate focused on this subject. Afterwards, she started studying this carrer in 2016 with a emphasis in Marketing. She has gained knowledge working with several companies all these years. She attended Law School at Universidad Escuela Libre de Derecho in 2020 and is now specializing as a Public Notary. She is in charge of property management of these projects and assisting legal management as well.
David Litwin
Engineer
David Litwin Arias, graduated of the prestigious University of Costa Rica is the owner of LTW Construction company which is specialized in civil works.
With more than 20 years of experience in heavy construction works he has worked in more than 1,000 houses built in Costa Rica. All projects included in his portfolio were led by engineer David Litwin as project manager. Both in the direction of civil works, construction planning and structural inspection; as well as in administrative direction and management of construction budgets.
Marco Moran
Architect
Marco Antonio Morán, graduated of Architecture from the Universidad Latina in 2013, has done trainings focused on many carrer subjects such as Autocad 2D and 3D. He has working experience as a draftsman, designer and construction inspector from 2010 to the present. He has many good references and his portfolio of projects designed by him.
